Modular Third-Generation Aeroponic System

Modular aeroponic (fogponic) system for controlled microgreens cultivation. Complete vertical growing solution — from hardware to mist irrigation control and cloud data layer with ESG reporting.

Key Features

Aeroponic / Fogponic Principle

Mist irrigation instead of traditional watering. More efficient use of water and nutrients.

Modular Construction

From professional version (2 m²) to industrial modules and standardized HIVE units.

IoT Sensor Network

Real-time measurement of cultivation parameters — temperature, humidity, pH, EC, light.

Cloud Management

Remote monitoring and system control, automation of growth cycles.

ESG Reporting

Transparent tracking of environmental metrics, base for investors and EU projects.

Metal Construction for Mass Production

Designed in collaboration with VŠB-TUO (FS, Jiří Struž), production via KK Maschinenbau.

Anatomy of Fog

Why is aeroponics more efficient than soil?

In our system, roots don't swim in water, nor are they in the ground. They hang in free space, where every few minutes they are enveloped in an ultra-fine mist with nutrients. This gives roots unlimited access to oxygen, accelerating metabolic processes by up to 30%. Result? Faster growth, higher bioactive content, and zero mold.

Kyslík

Maximální okysličení kořenové zóny.

Živiny

Přímá absorpce skrze mlhové částice.

Research Concept

Czechmicrogreens

Research concept for bioactive substances and genetic potential of microgreens

Czechmicrogreens is our joint research concept focused on studying genetic potential and bioactive substances in microgreens. The goal is to optimize cultivation for future plant use in the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries.

Společný koncept MoraviaLab, CARC, CzechGlobe a Moravoseed.

Podepsaný Letter of Intent s Moravoseed.

The Plant as a Bio-factory

Microgreens are not just plate garnishes. They are biochemical laboratories in an early growth stage. Our research shows that young plants can contain up to 40x higher concentrations of vitamins and antioxidants than their adult versions. At Czechmicrogreens, we tune the light spectrum and mist composition to force these 'factories' to produce maximum specific substances like glucosinolates or polyphenols.

Research Goals

1

Study of genetic potential of selected microgreens species

2

Identification and quantification of key bioactive substances

3

Optimization of growth parameters to maximize nutritional profile

4

Validation of plants for nutraceutical and pharmaceutical applications

5

Creation of a data base of growth protocols and bioactive content

Project Status

The concept is in an early stage — after visiting CARC in March 2025, a LOI was signed with Moravoseed. We are following up on initial contact with CAS Olomouc (IEB, Application Lab for Agricultural Research) from 2023 and preparing the structure for research collaboration.
